The Gospel of Jesus Christ

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:23). This is mankind’s problem. Each of us has sinned and, as a result, our relationship with the loving, holy, creator God of the universe is broken. The Bible is clear that the punishment for our sin is death and eternal separation from God (Rom. 6:23).

That’s why God sent Jesus (1 Tim. 1:15).

Jesus provided for us what we could never provide for ourselves: forgiveness for our sins (1 John 1:9). Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life (Heb. 4:15), died a substitutionary death on the cross for us (1 Cor. 15:3), and rose from the grave in victory over death (1 Cor. 15:4). Now “to all who receive him, who believe in his name, he gives the right to become children of God” (John 1:12). Do you know Jesus? Believe in his name, repent of your sins, and be saved today.
